Provisioning system is a system or affiliate which enables/modifies/disables the service. Typically Billing & CRM solution interacts with the provisioning system with the help of API.
Provisioning System is the transmission provider which turns on and off the signals with respect to the product (channel) based on the request sent by the system. It activates the signals on the hardware items ( Smart Card, Set Top Box etc.) allocated for the corresponding products.
Every provisionable hardware must have a set of provisioning attributes for identification. Such provisioning attributes of the hardware item are sent to the External Provisioning System for activating the signals on it.
