Capture Serial Numbers pop-up window

Serial Number pop up window helps to capture item serial numbers that are available in a particular inventory location or with a particular issuing entity.

To capture item serial numbers:

1. Select the Item from the drop-down and click Search button.

2. Five text boxes appears in Carton Serial Numbers section where you can enter carton code.

Note: To enable carton feature, set Enable carton profile option to Yes. If carton code is not provided, then the existing functionality continuous to function as already designed.

3. In Item Serial Numbers section, the serial numbers are implicitly selected based on the number of item serial numbers added to the given carton code.

For example: Select the item set-up-box and add three item serial numbers such as STB01, STB02, and STB03 to the same carton code CR001 in Serial Number pop-up window in Receipt Note screen. In Capture Serial Numbers pop-up window, if the item is selected as set-up-box and CR001 is entered in carton serial number text box then three text boxes will be  implicitly selected in Item Serial Numbers section.

4. You can also select the individual serial numbers displayed in Available Serial Numbers panel and click Add Serial Numbers button to add the selected serial numbers.

5. Click Save to save the item serial number details and click Close to close the pop-up window.
