The pending credit notes and debit notes that are moved to the staging area can be seen in Pending Credit/Debit Notes screen. You can retrieve credit notes and debit notes either customer wise or operational entity wise .
If you are an authorized user (having necessary privileges), you can approve the credit/debit notes. You can also modify the adjustment details before approval.
To approve pending adjustments:
On the Billing module, click Pending Credit/Debit Notes.
In the given search filters, provide values and click the Search button to view the list of pending credit/debit note numbers that are not approved along with details like Note Date, Charge Description, Invoice Number, Adjustment Level,, Adjustment Code, Adjustment Reason, Note Type, and Adjustment Amount.
Click the Edit link to navigate to the respective Credit Note or Debit Note screen in editable mode where you can edit the details. Click the Staging button to apply the modification and save the details again in staging.
Click the Approve link to navigate to respective Credit Note or Debit Note screen. Click the Save button to approve and save the credit/debit note details.
Click the Deny link to cancel the adjustment.
