Asset screen helps to define assets or titles for On Demand Services. Different attributes like, classes, rating types, languages, category and price is captured while defining assets. This screen also allows you specify the asset as an event.
To define an asset:
On the Product & Services module, click Configuration, and then click Asset.
Enter the Name and Description of the asset in the respective fields.
Select Language, Maturity Rating Code, Category, Class, and Status from the respective drop-downs.
Select the asset validity period in Valid From and Valid To fields.
Enter Content Location, Cost Price, Sale Price, and Preview Time.
Select Content Provider from the drop-down.
Click the Browse button to upload the image location path of the asset for preview. You can view the asset images by clicking the Preview button.
Click the Click the Browse button to upload the additional information, if any. You can view those information by clicking the Preview button.
Click the Save button to save the asset details.
To directly define the asset as an event, select the Asset as Event check box.
In Event Information table, select Event Type as PPV or VOD.
Select Sold Status and define ordering period in Order Begin Time and Order End Time fields.
If the order can be cancelled later, select "YES" from Allow Cancellation drop-down. Else, select "NO".
If the order cancellation is allowed then enter Cancellation Deadline.
Enter Event Duration in minute.
Click the Save button to save the asset as an event.
