Interface Profile screen helps you to create profile by specifying profile name, description, and selecting list of layouts. Layouts are grouped into profile. The profile created can be associated with a Role. This screen also allows the user to modify profile details by adding or deleting the layouts.
To create profile:
On System Administration menu, point to Basic Configurations, point to Field Configuration, and click Interface Profile.
Specify the Profile Code and Profile Description in their respective text boxes.
In the Status drop-downs, select the status as Active or Inactive to make the profile active or inactive respectively.
Note: Only 'Active' profiles can be mapped to the defined roles.
Click Add button to add screens and layouts.
In the grid below, select the Screen name from the drop-down list.
Select the Layout from the drop-down list and click icon or Update button to add the details.
Repeat the process from step 4 to step 6 to add multiple screens and layouts.
Click Save button to save the details.
Note: Interface Profile screen prevents you from adding different layouts for the same screen that is already existing for the same profile
To modify the profile details:
In the Interface Profile screen, enter the Profile Code or click icon to search for the existing profile codes. In the search pop-up window, enter the minimum required details and click Search button. Select the required profile code.
Modify the Profile Status, if required.
In the grid below, click icon against the screen name to modify the details. Else, select the Delete check box against the screen name to delete the profile details.
Click Save button to save the modified details.
