Hardware Association

Association screen helps to associate hardware items with the subscribed contracts. Serial numbers are mapped with the items in this screen. To activate signals on the particular items, association details are sent for provisioning.

To associate hardware with contract:

1. On Signups module, click Hardware Association.

2. Retrieve details of the customer. The details like Customer Name, Address, Contract Number, services opted, and Item Types appear in the Association Details grid.

3. In the Contract # drop-down, select the contract to which you want to associate the hardware.

4. Click icon against each item type.

5. In the Unique Address drop-down, select the serial number you want to map with the hardware item. Repeat the procedure to map serial numbers for each item.

6. Click the Save button to associate the hardware with the contract.

Note:

• If the contract is booked in bulk in Order screen (in wholesale case, for MSO), then the association is done at service class level. Else, the association is done at each individual service level (in retail case).

• If Enable Implicit Association profile option is set to Yes, then association happens implicitly. You need not associate the hardware manually through Association screen.

• For multiple rooms association, if Enable Implicit Association On Multi Rooms profile option is set to yes, then association happens implicitly for all the rooms. You need not associate hardware to each room manually through Association screen.
