Hardware Allotment

This screen provides ability to map item based serial numbers (Smart Card) to users( Field Technician) belonging to corresponding Operational Entity. It also helps to modify field technician belonging to particular item type (hardware)

To allocate the hardware for users:

1. On the Order Management module, click Hardware Allotment.

2. In Operational Entity drop-down, select the operational entity for users you want to map with the respective hardware.

3. Select the Item Type from the drop-down or enter the Serial number to allocate field technician for that particular item type or serial number.

4. Click Search to retrieve the item serial details.

5. In 'Item Serial Details' grid, select the Field Technician from the drop-down.

6. Click Save to allocate hardware for the field technician.

To modify field technician belonging to particular item type:

1. In Hardware Allotment screen, select the Operational Entity from the drop-down.

2. In Field Technician drop-down, select the user you want to modify for allotted hardware.

3. Click Search to retrieve the details.

4. In 'Item  Serial Details' grid, select the required Field Technician from the drop-down to map with the corresponding hardware.

5. Click Save to save the modified details.
