Employee Type

Employee Type screen helps you to categorize employees based on their work profile. A company may have a CSR (Customer Service Representative), Sales Representative, Receptionist, and Technician etc,. You can also assign different roles to an employee type.

To define an employee type

  1. On the System Administration module, click Employee, and then click Employee Type.

  2. In the Type Code box and the Description box, type the code and description of the employee type.

  3. In the Parent Type Code box, select the parent type (for example: An Assistant Manager may have Manager as the parent type).

  4. In the Status box, select status as Active or Inactive.

  5. In the Employee Role list box, select the roles you want to assign to the employee type.

  6. Select the Is Group Required check box.

  7. Click Save to save the defined employee type details.
