Renewal

Renewal is the process of extending or resuming a fixed term contract when it is due for expiry or already been expired.

When renewal is done before expiry of the contract, then renewal gets effective from the date of expiry of the current contract. When a contract is renewed after expiry, the new order is setup from the date of renew. In such case, the contract status becomes ACTIVE after renewal.

A contract is renewed in Renewal screen.

Note:

• During renewal the existing plans in a contract can not be changed.

• Some times renewal after expiry may not be allowed after the grace period.
