Invoice is the bill or list of charges generated for the services rendered. It is a formal request for payment issued by the service provider and sent to the customer. In invoice (bill) a written record of a transaction is submitted to the customer or client requesting payment for services or goods delivered. Invoice includes taxes if applicable.
Invoice is required to submit a request for payment in written format to the customer. When a customer subscribes a plan, the resultant amount to be invoiced is calculated considering the following components:
Charges for the availed services
Discounts, if any on the respective charges
Adjustments given to the charges
Taxes associated to the availed services
Note: If a customer has multiple billing frequency, then invoice can be generated billing period wise.
For Example:
If Package price Rs.100. Tax on price is 10% then total invoice amount will be Charge Price + Tax = Rs.100 + Rs.10 = Rs.110.
